Education

As a vibrant, growing, curious congregation, we will provide opportunities for ourselves, our children and youth, and the community to cultivate faith, expand our relationship to God, deepen our spiritual qualities, and with love, move from intention to action, both inside and outside the church walls.

Our focus will be to expand our spiritual educational ministry, both traditional and progressive, for everyone.

 

Sunday Morning Classes

 

Children and Youth Sunday Morning Classes

31/2 years - 8th Grade - 9:45 - 10:45 AM each Sunday

 

Adult Programming

Faith-in-Life Groups                  

Groups meet 1-2 times each month for study, prayer, care and mission. Two groups meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday, one group meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday morning, one group meets two Thursday evenings each month and one group meets 1 Tuesday evening each month. A new group will be starting in the fall of 2011, day and time is to be determined.

Sunday Morning Adult Classes

A variety of programs and educational opportunities will be provided throughout the year (Sept. - May) at 8:30 or 10:45 AM. Call the church office for time and information.

 

Mid Week Programs

Wednesday Fellowship - "The Creative Spirit" - Grades 3-5 at 3:45 - 5:00 PM

(Transportation provided from the elementary schools in River Falls.)

Children's Choir - Grades 3-5 - 5:00- 5:30 PM (Wednesday)

 

 

YOUTH MINISTRIES       

g2g - (Middle School Youth Group) - Grades 6-8 at 5:00 - 6:15 PM (Wednesday)

Senior High Gathering - Grades 10-12 at 6:30 - 7:30 PM (Wednesday)

Confirmation - 9th Grade at 6:30-7:30 PM (Wednesday)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Scholarships are for full-time undergraduate study with the exception of the Eleanor Borner-Johnson and the Earl & Marguerite Sumner Scholarship, which can be awarded to a student attending seminary. WE REQUIRE THAT ALL APPLICATIONS BY TYPED AND RETURNED TO THE CHURCH OFFICE ALONG WITH YOUR TRANSCRIPTS BY THE DUE DATE OF APRIL 1^ST.
