Marcus Borg 

Marcus Borg is Canon Theologian at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, Oregon. Internationally known in both academic and church circles as a biblical and Jesus scholar. He is among the most widely-known and influential voices in progressive Christianity.

He is the author of nineteen books, including Jesus: A New Vision (1987) and the best-seller Meeting Jesus Again for the First time (1994).

On April 20-21, Dr. Marcus Borg will be our guest presenter at an event sponsored by area United Methodist Churches.

“Why Didn’t Anyone Tell Me This Before:  Embracing an Adult Faith” will be the focus of Dr. Borg’s sharing with us.
