Marcus Borg Marcus Borg is Canon Theologian at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, Oregon. Internationally known in both academic and church circles as a biblical and Jesus scholar. He is among the most widely-known and influential voices in progressive Christianity. He is the author of nineteen books, including Jesus: A New Vision (1987) and the best-seller Meeting Jesus Again for the First time (1994).
On April 20-21, Dr. Marcus Borg will be our guest presenter at an event sponsored by area United Methodist Churches. “Why Didn’t Anyone Tell Me This Before: Embracing an Adult Faith” will be the focus of Dr. Borg’s sharing with us. The event will be held at: New Richmond High School, 650 Richmond Way New Richmond, Wisconsin 54017. (This location is handicapped accessible with handicapped seating available.) Scholarships are for full-time undergraduate study with the exception of the Eleanor Borner-Johnson and the Earl & Marguerite Sumner Scholarship, which can be awarded to a student attending seminary.
